What is "Of the People?”

By Jennie Arbogash

In my home Alex Trebeck, Ken Jennings and stunning events such as the recent all-female sweep of the Teen Championship are daily topics of conversation.  Jeopardy is sacred.  Past contestants are like relatives we haven’t seen for years but still speak fondly of from time to time.  Recently I saw a clue on the Gettysburg Address that got me to thinking about the oft-mentioned Lincoln quote, “…of the people, by the people, for the people…”

Take Time to be Inspired

By Jennie Arbogash

Lately I’ve been jumping up and down in my seat. A lot.

I’m not over-caffeinated or experiencing ADD or suffering from restless leg syndrome.  I'm hyped up on creating new solutions to local problems, investing in non-profits and building knowledge and relationships for givers.  I’m feeling deeply connected to my vision for the future and how SVP will gather amazing people to get us there.
